In a custom-sized enclosed pit, users control RC construction vehicles using arcade-style joysticks after scanning a QR code and paying a fee. Where is Hardhat RC located? We're based in Austin and available upon request for food trailer parks and outdoor venues. What age groups is Hardhat RC suitable for? All ages are welcome. Adult supervision is required for children. Do you need prior RC experience to participate? No experience needed. What equipment do participants get to use? Players use joysticks to control RC construction vehicles like excavators, dump trucks, front loaders, cranes, dozers, and ETVs.

Is the equipment safe for kids? There is a safety barrier between players and RC vehicles. Do not cross the barrier. What happens if a machine gets damaged during use? [Answer still needed] Do you sanitize controllers and shared surfaces? Yes, all shared surfaces are sanitized regularly. What safety measures are in place at the play area? The entire attraction is enclosed with players operating from outside the pit. Do you supervise the sessions? We may have a remote viewer monitoring and capable of taking control if needed.

What kind of RC machines do you use? We use 1:16 to 1:24 scale models of real construction vehicles. How are the controllers set up? Players use standard arcade-style joystick controls. Is everything battery-powered or wireless? RC trucks run on battery power. Controls are powered via wired systems. Can I use my own controller or app? No, only our provided controllers may be used. Do you offer instructions or tutorials? Yes, online tutorials and warning systems are available for guidance.

Players build hills and dig holes in a fun sandbox environment. Can players compete or collaborate? Yes, collaboration is encouraged—build projects together! Are there different skill levels or challenges? Yes, candy pieces are placed in the sandbox for players to collect. Can I pause or extend my session? You can extend your session by 1 minute using the maintenance center.
